With seeds, training and ongoing support from SAP-R extension workers, local farmers have been growing eggplants, green peppers, tomatoes and cabbages. In Riimenze, staff at St. Dominic Savio Nursery School and the Sustainable Agriculture Project worked with Mama Alex to find a practical way for her to earn income while caring for her baby.
