Nightlight Astrology

Dear friends,

This retreat is the philosophical heart of our lineage. If you are called to understand astrology not just as a system, but as a living oracle, this immersion is for you.

Over six days (August 7–13, 2027), we will explore the sacred posture required to approach the chart as a divine tool. You will learn to identify karmic patterns, deliver readings with spiritual clarity, and integrate ancient theory into daily practice. This is where theory transforms into lived wisdom.

The Early Bird pricing is available through October 10th. We would love to have you with us in Minnesota.

Venus retrograde in Scorpio is here — a 40-day period that asks you to review the contracts of the heart. What do you owe, and what are you owed? Where have desire and reciprocity become unequal?

In this episode, I walk through horoscopes for all 12 signs by whole sign house, so you can see exactly where this retrograde touches your birth chart.

Venus turns retrograde in Scorpio on October 3rd, and for the next forty days, the depths will surface. This is not a season for distraction. It is a season for honesty — about desire, about attachment, about the quiet agreements we make with others and ourselves. In today's podcast episode, we look at the astrology of Venus in fixed water, and what it asks of your soul.

🎧 The Oracle Speaks — Now in the Voice That Lived It

Adam Elenbaas narrates his own memoir: a journey from evangelical childhood to ayahuasca visions to a life spent reading the language of the sky. Hear the story the way it was meant to be told—in the voice of the man who lived it.

Mars in Leo is opposing Pluto in Aquarius, and this podcast episode asks a quiet, severe question: Can you hold your center when another power tries to define you? I explore the I Ching's hexagram Great Power, the strange dignity of not taking the bait, and why psychic self-defense is not paranoia but discernment. When your creative fire meets a collective pressure, something old may shed its skin. A revolution can begin inwardly.

What if astrology is not a map to be read, but a voice to be heard?

This is the question at the heart of The Oracle Within—a 6-day immersion into the theory and practice of divinatory astrology with Adam Elenbaas. Mornings are for philosophical teaching. Afternoons are for experiential practice: guided oracular work, group exercises, and live client readings. Time for rest, nature, and community.

This is an opportunity to move beyond technique and into relationship. To approach the chart not as a problem to be solved, but as a living presence that speaks when we are ready to hear.

Join Adam for an informational Zoom meeting on Sunday, September 27 at 3:30 p.m. ET to learn more about the vision for the retreat and why this training represents the philosophical heart of everything taught at Nightlight.

Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there.

The Sun is running the gauntlet this weekend. It opposes Neptune, then trines Pluto and Uranus—a sequence that can strip away illusion and ask what your soul actually seeks. You may feel stretched, tender, uncertain. Yet in that softening, compassion becomes possible. The astrology of the heart asks: Where have you mistaken worldly longing for spiritual home?

The 5th House: Creative Dharma, Pleasure, and the Place of Good Fortune

Why was the 5th house called "the place of good fortune"? What makes it the seat of joy and the wellspring of creativity?

Join professional astrologer Adam Elenbaas for a two-hour lecture and Q&A session exploring the 5th house in ancient astrology. We will uncover its archetypal meaning, examine how its themes emerge from its succedent relationship to the angular 4th house, and explore its connection to children, artistry, romance, and the pursuit of pleasure.

You will come away with practical insights on how to interpret planets placed in the 5th house with greater depth and clarity—a valuable tool for both students and practitioners of astrology.

Date/Time: Thursday, October 15, 2026 — 6:30-8:30 PM ET

Eclipses do not end when the sky clears. Their story keeps unfolding — across months, across moon cycles, in the quiet corners of your life.

In today's episode, I show you how to track the reactivation of eclipses. We look at the Leo and Pisces eclipses of August, the dates to watch, and simple tools from Hellenistic astrology: the whole sign house, planets crossing the eclipse degree, and the Moon's return. You'll also hear a personal story about how an eclipse on my ascendant ruler opened a door I did not expect.

You do not need to chase meaning. Stay consistent, and the pattern will reveal itself.
