According to the Capital Area Food Bank, 56% of households in Prince George’s County experienced food insecurity in the past year.

As a Community Health Center, we understand that access to nutritious food is an important part of good health. That’s why, in 2025, CCI partnered with the Priority Partners Cupboard Project to bring a free, self-serve pantry to our health center in Greenbelt.

Since then, we’ve seen the need in our community continue to grow. We’re grateful for partners like ZionChurch for supporting our pantry and helping us provide healthy food to our neighbors. It truly is a community effort, and partnerships like this make a meaningful difference.

But we need your help keeping it stocked. If you or your organization is interested in supporting CCI’s pantry, please contact [email protected].

Reach Out and Read Maryland partners with healthcare providers to make reading and early literacy a meaningful part of pediatric care.

Through this partnership, CCI providers like Dr. Carrington are trained to include a children’s book in every well-child visit from birth to age 5. Families get tips on making reading part of their daily routine, and every child gets to take a book home!
