Today's the day! Barrie School Athletics is hosting a full afternoon of games on campus today, Tuesday, Sep 22, and we want to see our community out in full force supporting our student-athletes!
Bring your Barrie spirit, bring your energy, and come cheer on our teams!
And what’s game day without a great snack? Playa Bowls will be on campus as a vendor! A portion of purchases will go directly back to supporting our school programs, so you can enjoy a treat while giving back to our students.

From our youngest Infants to our Grade 12 seniors, the entire Barrie community came together for Barrie Beginnings! This is our opening ceremony and the official start of a new school year. 💙💛
There were smiles, school spirit, and even a little magic, courtesy of Head of School Ben Thrash, who reminded us that every great beginning is better with a unicorn. 🦄

The season kicks off with “The Future of Learning,” featuring Barrie Head of School Ben Thrash! Ben joins the conversation to share insights on preparing students academically and socially for the future, supporting educators with the resources they need, and the implementation and impact of the Global Impact Diploma at Barrie.

☀️ Making a Splash into a New School Year! 💦
What better way to kick off the year than with a pool party! Today, Barrie families from Infant through Grade 12 came together for our Welcome Back Pool Party—a chance to reconnect with old friends, welcome new ones, and celebrate the start of another year together. 💙
A big thank you to the Barrie Family Association (BFA) for bringing our community together and hosting such a fun start to the school year!

🐊 See you soon, alligator!
Our Barrie alligators have had quite the summer! Before we officially say goodbye to summer adventures, we have a few more photos to share from our faculty and staff—and their trusty traveling companions. ☀️🐊
From adventures near and far to quiet moments closer to home, these little alligators have given us a fun glimpse into how the Barrie team spent their summer.
But now, the countdown is almost over. On Monday, our faculty and staff return to campus to prepare for a new school year, and we’re ready to trade “See you later, alligator!” 👋🐊for “Welcome back!” 💙💚
