If you haven't already voted, it is the recommendation of the California Secretary of State that you return your ballot at a drop box or visit a vote center due to new rules and procedures regarding postmarking. Of course, do so by June 2nd!! And preferably ASAP.

Ballots have been mailed! Over the past several months, we've met with and voted to endorse candidates in each of these races from Congress on down. Those at the bottom of the ballot are just as important as those up top. This election isn't just about beating Republicans and stopping Trump, but making sure that we elect strong Democrats who will serve the best interests of their communities.

Note: County Supervisor District 4 includes Simi Valley, Moorpark, and unincorporated areas such as the Santa Susana Knolls. County Supervisor District 2 includes Thousand Oaks, part of Camarillo, and areas such as Oak Park and the Santa Rosa Valley.

Ballots will be mailed next week, and one of the lesser known offices on ours is the Ventura County Superintendent of Schools. That's because the seat went uncontested for decades.... until this election.
