CT Scout Spirit Day is Tuesday, Sept 22: Wear your favorite scout shirt

Show off your scouting pride! This Tuesday, September 22, all scouts (Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, and more) are invited to wear their favorite scout shirt to school!

During lunch periods, Mrs. VanOstenbridge and her friend, Miss Sarah, will be stopping by each grade during lunch to share a quick preview of what Cub Scouts is all about (open to all boys & girls in grades K–5) and answer student questions.

Get ready to represent your pack, troop, or crew on Tuesday!

OH. MY. GOSH, CT families — TOMORROW is the day!

Mrs. Iswalt is practically vibrating with excitement because DOT DAY arrives in the morning!

If you’re new (or “new‑ISH,” as Peter Reynolds would say), Dot Day is one of CT’s most joyful traditions — an international celebration inspired by The Dot, where a caring teacher encourages a student to “make her mark.” One tiny dot becomes a whole adventure in courage, creativity, and collaboration.

While Mrs. Iswalt personally believes Dot Day should be recognized by world leaders everywhere, participation at CT is totally optional and just for fun. If your child wants to join the dot‑tastic excitement tomorrow, here are a few easy ideas:

🔵 Wear DOTS — polka dots, circle shapes, anything dot‑ish and delightful
🔵 Coordinate a dot theme with classmates
🔵 Try a quick Dot Day activity at home

If you have questions, send them to Mrs. VanOstenbridge— Mrs. Iswalt is already covered in dots and preparing for tomorrow, and Pete Reynolds is probably busy celebrating with the rest of the world.

Rest up, CT families… because TOMORROW is HAPPY DOT DAY!

And yes, Mrs. Iswalt WILL be wearing dots all week. Obviously.
