Annabella is a Lead Interior Designer with over 6 years of experience crafting functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. With a passion for blending innovative design concepts with practical solutions, Annabella has worked on a diverse range of projects, from residential homes to commercial spaces. Known for a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of spatial dynamics, and a commitment to excellence, Annabella takes pride in ensuring that each project reflects the unique vision and lifestyle of the client.

A graduate of Louisiana State University’s School of Interior Design, Annabella has honed expertise in creating environments that balance beauty and functionality. She has a strong foundation in design principles; space planning, color theory, lighting design, furnishings, and finishes, combined with an intuitive sense of how design influences mood and well-being and influenced by a love of biophilic design concepts and connection to nature. Annabella’s approach to design is rooted in collaboration, working closely with contractors, fabricators, and clients to bring their vision to life.

Whether it’s transforming a space into a luxurious sanctuary or optimizing a commercial area for productivity and style, Annabella is dedicated to creating environments that feel curated and unique.

When she isn’t working on design projects, Annabella enjoys making art and traveling, which inspire her creativity and passion for design.

When it comes to thoughtful, intentional, and beautiful design, Doug has an unparalleled knack for creating a vision on paper and bringing it to life. In addition to his talent for visualizing the potential of a space, Doug’s drive, tireless work ethic, commitment to excellence, and ability to premeditate and overcome challenges sets him apart in the interior design world.

Originally from Los Angeles, Doug spent over a decade in the film industry creating specialized lighting and sets for commercials, music videos, film, and television. This experience in the film industry served to hone his natural talent for design and gave him an intimate understanding of how exceptional lighting is a necessity for a beautiful environment.

After relocating to beautiful Asheville with his wife and daughter, Doug started Stratton Design Group. Now, with more than 20 years of experience and an extensive portfolio, we specializes in interior environments for luxury homes and hospitality projects. Doug’s vast understanding of mood, ambiance, character, lighting, and functional, creative design has proven to be a perfect match for the building design and hospitality industries.

Originally from the coast of North Carolina, Kendall grew up immersed in design (her mom’s a graphic designer and her dad’s an architect, so you could say it’s in her blood). After earning her degree from Appalachian State, she traded beach views for mountain air and found her creative home here in Asheville with SDG.⁠

Kendall brings care, collaboration, and an eye for the details that elevate a space, from flow and function to texture and tone. And when she’s not designing? You’ll find her chasing her two kids around the garden, styling her own space, or adding just one more plant to the mix.
