Butterfly Lady Designs was born from a love of vintage furniture and mixed media art.
Butterfly Lady Designs is all about the metamorphosis from old and worn out to fresh and functional. Primarily focused on vintage furniture, I find sturdy vintage items and give them a facelift using a variety of painting techniques. Sometimes the metamorphosis is more dramatic as I transform the original object into something completely new, such as a suitcase to a chair or a door to a halltree.
We can't be perfect all the time. It is okay to have a bad day. Just dust yourself off, do something that makes you smile and apologize as needed. Have a great weekend!

I recently had the honor of working with a client to create a custom design for his wife on their anniversary. I gave a hint on one of the layers a couple of weeks ago but had to wait til the gift was given to share the full piece of art.
Happy Anniversary you two.
