Been awhile since an update - but got back on the track with Outlaw Central at Loop 2 this past weekend. Took a hot minute to get back into the swing of things after the yard sale at Lucas in May. It was definitely two extremes throughout the weekend. Friday was blistering hot and humid, then cool and windy saturday, and the heat was back on Sunday. Seemed like the war of attrition across the field - with the heat hurting a lot of machines. We battled an oil line burst on Friday, then some major blow by the rest of the weekend. Motor kept running though and took 1st in qualifying then all 4 races. Looking forward to getting it all sorted out and back together for the last few rounds of the season!

Back together and off to Twenty 5 Design for the wrap! Getting ready for Champ Off-Road at ERX this week! Shout out to Fabworx Co. for the stellar job getting it all back together and relocating the radiator to the side. Can’t wait to get back out there this week with DR. rebuild underway! figured I'd use a better picture instead of a half torn down machine :) mostly ok - front end was mostly gone, but parts are on the way! The machine and I both won't be ready for Antigo - but still heading up to drop it off to Fabworx Co. for some frame repairs, little tin work and a new chromoly front stub. Take the opporunity to make some small changes and improve the machine as we go. Goal is Crandon - but we'll just take it one day at a time. Time for an update!! First weekend with Champ Offroad in Pro Stock is in the books. Lot of ups and downs. I can definitely say - these guys bring the speed. Huge thanks to Chad DR. PowerSports Racing for being my spotter, pit crew, etc. - sucks that we weren't able to get his on the course - or that turbo talon would have been a competitor for sure! We made a lot of changes and dialed in the talon more this weekend. Saturday I started 14th and had worked my way into the top 10 before spinning out. Clawed back for a 13th finish. We worked on the talon that night - and got updates from PPEI to get the machine happy on UTV96. Sunday it was windy but we were running good. Made my way up to 11th and was on a good lap to try for a top 10 finish, but a huge gust of wind grabbed the talon on the table top jump in back - and sent me for a wild ride. Half a dozen flips/rotations later - and that was the end of my day. Ended up finishing 12th. In a HUGE shoutout to Fabworx Co. for the amazing cage and frame work. Even with all that energy - only one part of the frame is a little bent, and should be an easy fix. The front end is gone - but opportunity may present itself for a stronger solution. In case anyone wants to know - THIS IS WHY WE USE ALL THE SAFETY GEAR! all-in-all tail bone was bruised, shoulder took a hit and popped a blood vessel in my eye from the g forces. But was able to walk away thanks to all the great safety gear and staff from Lucas Oil Speedway and Champ Off-Road. Again - shout out to Fabworx Co. on that chassis work, RaceQuip for keeping my head safe. Parts are already en route and we'll be back ready to fight for a higher finish soon! Little behind, ran to Lucas Oil Speedway with Outlaw Central last weekend. 2nd time on the new Talon and it did not disappoint! Took 1st on the first race, then broke a cv on race 2. Big shout out to Chad and Amy at DR. PowerSports Racing for helping get the Talon in race form again. Had a ton of compliments about the new look Fabworx Co. did on the tin and frame work. Of course Twenty 5 Design did one hell of a wrap and it was looking damn good on track. Switched to Raceline Wheels to meet the specs for Champ - they certainly held up good.

Spent the last week getting it ready for the season opener for Champ Off-Road this upcoming weekend. Should be a great weekend for racing down Lucas Oil Speedway. Come stop by the pit and say hi!
