Every now and then we get asked if some of our raptors are missing legs. The answer is a friendly no! Birds will often tuck one foot into their body to conserve heat and when they are resting. Sometimes their feet can be difficult to spot due to their chest and belly feathers! Pictured is Fenn who is notorious for this behavior!
