We have a spay/neuter clinic coming up on Monday 🩺 Bluebell and a new, very fluffy, gray, male bunny are getting fixed! This means they will be available to adopt soon 🏡 Each spay and neuter costs about $80, usually a bit more after pain meds are dosed. We have an urgent situation (well, probably multiple situations, but this is the one we know the most about). There is a rabbit living in a hoarding house who needs help getting out 🐰 We have permission from the owner to take in the bunny, but we have to find a foster home somewhere in the Cedar Rapid/Iowa City area. If you live anywhere in that part of Iowa and can foster a bunny, you could be a lifesaver 🐾 We don't have a lot of info but from the pictures we suspect the bun has ear mites and maybe an ear infection. We will also flea treat him before going to foster care if someone steps forward and we're able to take him. We have kennels and supplies you can use if needed too, but are currently maxed on space. As a foster you will get to name him! We will fundraise for his medical care and neuter, but our priority right now is finding him somewhere safe to go. We can't help him otherwise. Please consider opening your home to him if you can 🏠 It's ok if you don't have experience, we'll get you caught up. Can you be the hero he needs? 🦸‍♂️

Good news! 🎉 Hershey and Sock have been adopted! After waiting almost two years, they have found their forever family 🖤🤎 Their new family is so sweet and had a great set up ready for them! They're even growing their own herbs and hay 🌾🌱 Thank you so much to their family for giving these two sweet bunnies a chance 🏡 it means the world to us and them! We're wishing them all the best with their new adventures together 🐾

You're all so amazing! I just realized we've reached over 1k followers! 🐰🎉 Thank you everyone who follows our page and shares. This might seem small but the way I see it, this is over 1k people who care about bunnies! They're often so overlooked and neglected, and considered more of a farm animal/livestock than as a pet, especially in the Midwest.

Since starting the rescue in Fall 2024, we saved 58 bunnies from a hoarding house, have taken in many owner surrenders and strays, and fostered when the shelter was full. We've helped with a few wild bunny situations as well! Every bunny that comes into our rescue gets spayed/neutered, which is the biggest step we can take in preventing more litters. We've also helped community members get access to affordable spays and neuters 🩷🩵
