USQ is excited to welcome Predicta Biosciences as our first lab tenant at 10 Prospect!

The company will move into its new space in October, marking a significant expansion of its team and operations.

Founded by oncologists and scientists from Cancer Institute and the , Predicta is developing an integrated molecular diagnostics platform for hematological malignancies.

Its technology sequences whole, intact circulating tumor cells from a single blood draw, generating genomic and immune insights that can help guide therapy selection and track disease evolution over time.

We built 10 Prospect for companies like Predicta: founded here in the Boston region, growing quickly, and ready for a lab of their own.

At 10 Prospect, they’ll have specialized lab infrastructure, a Green Line station at their front door, and a Union Square neighborhood filled with researchers, founders, builders, and dozens of independent restaurants and shops.

Welcoming Predicta is an important milestone for USQ and we expect it to be the first of many.

Meet the Artist 🎨

Introducing the talented illustrator behind our 4th Annual Scenes from Somerville Coloring Book, Sam Streed ().

Sam is an illustrator and designer living in Union Square who writes, draws, animates and colors all sorts of scenes and characters.

He likes to sketch on paper and do his finished work on a computer. Graduating from RISD in 2017, he has mostly worked in children's publishing and education.

Outside of work, Sam is still drawing, usually at the .

In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Union Square Donuts is bringing back its “Team Tilly” donut, inspired by Co-Founder Josh Danoff’s daughter, Matilda “Tilly,” who was diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor at just two and a half years old.

The strawberry-vanilla donut is topped with rainbow sprinkles and an edible “Team Tilly” image, with 100% of net proceeds donated to The Matilda Rose Danoff Fund for Pediatric Spinal Cord Tumor Research at Cancer Institute.

Stop by Union Square Donuts this month to enjoy something sweet while supporting pediatric cancer research. 🎗️
