Introducing **Beauty From Ashes**, a Spokane Wildfire Relief & Recovery Collection.

This is one of the most personal collections Zome has ever created.

Our owner, Brayden Jessen, and his family were displaced from their Five Mile home for more than a week. Their home survived, but friends, family members and people throughout our community lost homes, property and the sense of safety they once had.

An idea from Brayden’s mom and close family friends in Indian Trail became the foundation for this collection.

Inspired by Isaiah 61:3, the design features a young Ponderosa pine and Spokane lilac growing together from the ashes.

The pine represents strength and new growth. The lilac represents Spokane. The intertwined roots represent the faith, families and relationships connecting all of us to this place.

Fire can take so much.

But it cannot take our roots.

We also wanted the collection to feel as meaningful as the story behind it. We chose premium Comfort Colors apparel and soft water-based discharge printing to create that lived-in, favorite-shirt feel from day one. We didn’t want to make fundraiser merchandise people wear once. We wanted to create something worth keeping.

**100% of the profits from this collection will be donated to Innovia Foundation’s Spokane Complex Wildfire Response Fund.** Innovia retains none of the fund for operating costs. The entire fund supports impacted individuals and families through vetted nonprofit partners serving our community.

Spokane Hoopfest is officially wrapped, which means one of our favorite secret projects of the year can finally be revealed. 🏀👑

Every year, we get to print the legendary Loser King shirts for Hoopfest. And no, Loser King is not the tournament champion.

It goes to the 13th place team, the winner of the losers bracket.

Or, as this year’s shirt says, the Unlikely Champions.

This year’s design took a little trip to a galaxy far, far away, complete with “Episode # # ,” a field of stars, and hidden lettering that spells out LOSER KING inside the artwork.

The shirt celebrates the team that battled through their bracket, claimed “victory from the jaws of defeat,” and earned one of the most underrated honors in Spokane Hoopfest history.

That’s what makes event merch fun.

It’s not just a shirt.
It’s an inside joke.
It’s a trophy.
It’s a memory.
It’s a story people actually want to wear.

Congrats to this year’s Loser King team. You may not have won the whole thing, but you definitely won the shirt with the best backstory. 👑

This year’s shirt features a hidden message. 🃏

Pull up the shirts to align the two dots to reveal the hidden message, “Loser - Numero 13”.

A number of years ago, Hoopfest created the fun “13th Place, Loser King” shirts to encourage people to continue playing through Sunday, even if they knew they couldn’t make it to the Championship bracket.

We think our graphic designer, Sonny, nailed it out of the park on this year’s design.

The Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist will be responsible for financial statements, bookkeeping, accounting software management, and journal entries. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, processing payments, and generating financial reports.

Qualifications:
Financial Statements and Bookkeeping skills
2-3 Years Experience with Quickbooks Desktop (We use Enterprise)
Knowledge of Finance and Journal Entries (Accounting)
2-3 Years of professional background in accounting/bookkeeping
Microsoft 365 Office Programs, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
