Comfort food with a little bit of a twist.

We’re excited to feature Chowderhead for Trending Northwest Restaurant Month, presented by PNW Organics!

If you know Chowderhead, you know this isn’t your average sandwich spot. Their menu takes familiar comfort-food favorites and gives them a chef-driven spin, with scratch-made ingredients, bold flavors and sandwiches that are anything but boring.

Why they’re worth the stop? Everything feels familiar, but there’s always an unexpected flavor combination that makes it stand out.

Here’s what to order:

– Banh Mi: braised pork shoulder, spicy mayo, cucumber, jalapeño, pickled vegetables and fresh cilantro on house bread. Bright, savory and packed with flavor.

– Cheesesteak: sliced ribeye with roasted onion and pepper, mushrooms, garlic mayo, American cheese and fresh herbs on house bread. A seriously satisfying take on the classic.

– Hot Italian Beef: braised brisket, garlic mayo, giardiniera, Mama Lil peppers, provolone, chili oil and fresh herbs on house bread. Rich, savory and with just the right amount of heat.

Whether you’re craving a classic comfort-food sandwich or want to try something a little different, Chowderhead deserves a spot on your Spokane food list.

And if you’re anything like us, picking just one sandwich is going to be the hardest part.
