Sylvia Mudd…G prep senior. I was excited to meet Sylvia. She sent me inspo pics months before her session and messaged me throughout the booking journey. I could tell she was so excited and had an exact vision for her pics! We found the perfect locations. We started at Half Moon Blooms - Spokane U-pick flower farm so she could be immersed in their beautiful flower garden and ended at my friend’s house Campea Photography to let her frolic through their beautiful green meadow. Sylvia has so many interests and isn’t yet sure what she wants to do when she grows up. She mentioned everything from working with animals to doing something in biology to becoming a lawyer to being the president of the United States! I love that she loves so many things and know she will figure out which path(s) are meant for her. While she figures it out, she wants to go to college in California where it’s warm. She is excited to spread her wings outside of Spokane! Sylvia brought her mom with her and I can tell they are such sweet friends. Ugh she’s going to miss you Sylvia! But we are all excited to watch you fly!

Frankie Haugen… Shadle Senior. Frankie is such a great kid… he’s the oldest of 3 and is so sweet to his mom. His dad wanted to come to his shoot too, so showed up at the very end and we got to sneak in a pic of him with mom and dad. Frankie has recently gotten into stargazing and it was fascinating looking on his phone at the pictures he’s able to capture of the Milky Way. He can pick out constellations, stars, and planets. I’ve always wished I knew how to do that. Frankie’s family was the winner of my mini session giveaway so I’ll get to see more of him in a few weeks :) You’re a complete joy to be around Frankie and I hope senior year and beyond is as good as you are!

Jayden Bergere… Ferris Senior. I’ve been so lucky to get to watch Jayden grow up because she’s the cousin/niece of our sweet friends. She’s always been soooo sweet! I got to shoot her older brother a few years ago. Their family is so fun because they have a range in kids from about 21/23 all the way down to 1/2?!? I’ve loved watching the way they all pitch in and help raise each other. Jayden was such a good big sister to her little bro who came and ran around the river with us… always watching out for him and loving him. She does running start through SCC so she’s well on her way to post high school education. Jayden you’re the sweetest!!

Andrew Krustangel… Gonzaga Prep Senior. This is one SUPER busy, dependable, ambitious, nice, friendly, dude. I’m not sure I can remember all the activities and responsibilities Andrew has on his plate. Maybe my favorite is that he’s a photographer :) A good one. He focuses on sports and is for hire! He also does graphic design. Aaaand he does lacrosse, plays guitar, he’s a junior counselor at camp Reed, he’s on the teen city counsel and campus ministry for G Prep, he’s the founder and president of Prep’s deca program, elected to GPrep ASB student council. See? So busy. So dependable. So ambitious. On top of all that, he’s just really sweet. His mom and sister came to the shoot and he’s clearly a very good big brother and loves his mom. Andrew you do it all and graduating high school is just the tip of the iceberg for you!

Katie Montecucco…Mead Senior. Poor Katie was the one this summer with the rescheduling nightmare! We were both evacuated during the fires so we had to reschedule once. Then the morning of our shoot the weather was questionable but we pushed it and we met at 7 AM. I walked to her car to chat and it started raining and thundering. So we drove home and decided to try again at 10 AM. Aaand the rain stopped, the sun even popped out slightly and we ended up having a beautiful shoot! Thanks for hanging with me, Katie! She brought her mom and grandma to the shoot who were so sweet and supportive. Katie told me towards the end of her shoot that every time I told her to do something, mom and grandma were behind me doing it… swaying or spinning or playing with their hair. Such good models! What a fun shoot with all 3 of you!!!

Jonah Winkoski… Lakeside Senior. Well that’s a nice kid. Seriously, I’m pretty sure nobody has ever met Jonah and thought anything different. He’s about as sweet as it gets. He’s also interested in and really knowledgeable in science and history. He can look at the sky any night and tell you exactly what you’re looking at. He has a massive telescope and takes photos of the moon, stars, etc… they’re stunning! He also plays tennis and loves his coaches. (I hear that a lot about the Lakeside tennis coaches btw :) He even made it to state his junior year. I hope you get to go again this year Jonah! You’re as nice as it gets and have the kindest smile and you deserve so much good in life! Enjoy senior year!!!

Kaylee Vannatter… Mt Spokane Senior. Kaylee had her mom and younger sister with her to help with all the outfits, posing, hair, etc. Kaylee had a morning shoot and she started in the cutest green country dress. She woke up as we walked all around our location. Her last outfit was her soccer goal keeping uniform and the second she put it on, she was alive and sooo comfortable. She is a soccer player to the core. I could tell immediately that’s her happy place :) She would love to play in college somewhere. And in a perfect world it would be at a school with a great veterinarian program. She loves animals. She also loves the water and loves to swim, waterski and tube. Hmmm… vet program, soccer, near water… cannot wait to see where you end up Kaylee!!! Any school would be lucky to have you.

Peyton Twenge… Mt Spokane Senior.
Peyton rocked her session like a supermodel! She actually would love to model one day and is already making strides in the pageant/modeling world. She also loves art, cheerleading, music, fashion, shopping, cooking, nails, running and baking. She started cheerleading junior year so was excited for that again senior year. She isn’t sure yet what she wants to do after she graduates but I’m excited to see what she chooses! You’re so sweet Peyton!

Maren Rippy… Lakeside Senior. Maren is the 4th Rippy I’ve gotten to shoot and I only get one more! This family always takes me on the best adventures. They are adventure seeking like no other, so it’s fitting. They are runners and hikers and rock climbers and campers and river rafters, and every type of outdoor-er you could be. Maren took me to one of her favorite hiking spots and then to her neighborhood boat launch where her family has more memories than she can count. She was stunning and so calm but at the same time scaling rocks and swimming in a satin dress. Oh Maren I’m just not surprised at all. You have always been the best combo of crazy adventure and steady calm and that’s going to work so well for you in life! I’m excited to watch you do it!!!

Cade Stroscher… Mt Spokane Senior. Life is so unpredictable isn’t it? We took these pics at the end of July when Cade was getting ready to start his senior year of football as the QB for Mt Spokane. 6 weeks later, during a game, he tore his ACL and his last season of football, along with basketball and track came to a screeching halt. Not at all the senior year he was looking forward to. But… he got this tattoo (see last pic) in Maui with his mom and brother and I’m pretty sure it’s his anchor right now… “For His glory and my good.” Cade is trusting that God’s path for his life is better than his own. In the successes and the disappointments, he trusts. I fully believe he has so much good ahead. When we finished our shoot, my sister-in-law who has gotten to teach Cade, texted me “Isn’t he the NICEST kid???” Yes. Yes he is. He’s humble, kind, sweet, optimistic, and he loves to learn. He hopes to go to Boise State and maybe pursue engineering. Cade, between your faith, your heart, your brain, and your personality, you are absolutely giving Him the glory. So many prayers for your recovery and excitement for you as new doors open. 🙏🏼
