☠️ A lethal combination—in the best way.

FOR TIME:
50 Wall Balls → 100m Ski
30 Wall Balls → 200m Ski
20 Wall Balls → 300m Ski
10 Wall Balls → 400m Ski

Wall balls + SkiErg make for a seriously effective Zone 4–5 threshold workout.

The wall ball demands repeated squat-to-press output, then you jump straight onto the SkiErg and shift into a powerful high-to-low pulling pattern.

Different movement patterns. Same problem: both demand a lot of output.

The key is to be methodical with your wall balls. Don’t unnecessarily spike yourself early trying to win the first 50. Find a rhythm you can sustain, transition quickly, and see how well you can keep producing as the ski distances climb.

This is a great one for testing your ability to work near threshold while switching between muscle groups and maintaining quality under fatigue.

Bonus data to track:
Average heart rate
Time for each split
Total workout time

Run it once, save your numbers, and come back to it later.

How well can you hold your output when both movements start fighting back?

11 weeks out from HYROX Nashville.

Right now, we’re not trying to prove how wrecked we can get. We’re trying to find our rhythm.

Today’s workout is a check-in on running efficiency under just enough HYROX fatigue to matter.

We’re using a minimal effective dose of some of the harder stations—not enough to completely throttle us, but enough to ask a question:

Can you get back to your run and still run well?

That’s the skill we’re building.

The stations should challenge your breathing, legs, and composure. Then you settle back into your pace, find your mechanics, and keep moving efficiently.

At 11 weeks out, we don’t need every workout to feel like race day. We need to build the engine, protect our running quality, and gradually increase how much work we can absorb without losing our rhythm.

Today gives us a baseline.

How strong is your run right now when HYROX starts getting in the way?

Find the rhythm. Build from there.

That cloud looks sus 👀 😂

And if we’re being fair, sometimes the clouds are real.

Work gets crazy. The kids need us. We’re tired. Something hurts. Life throws something onto the calendar we didn’t ask for.

But sometimes… we’re also remarkably talented at finding the one cloud in an otherwise blue sky.

Maybe the goal isn’t to eliminate our excuses.
💡It’s to stop requiring perfect conditions.

Because there was never a perfect time to have kids, change careers, go back to school, take the trip or finally start taking care of yourself.

Life doesn’t clear the road and then invite us forward.

We decide something matters. And then we learn to navigate the road as it is. ❤️

More HYROX training isn’t always better HYROX training.

The goal 8–16 weeks out isn’t to simulate race day every day. It’s to build a body that can actually handle race day.

That means your week needs a balance of:

Strength to make the stations easier.
Intensity to raise your ceiling.
Zone 2 to build the engine.
Functional work to keep you durable.
Longer HYROX work to learn how to perform under fatigue.
And recovery so your body can actually adapt to all of it.

The magic isn’t any ONE workout.

It’s how the workouts fit together.

Use this 7-day blueprint as a framework, adjust the volume to your current ability, and build progressively as race day gets closer.

Train hard enough to improve. Easy enough to recover. Consistently enough to become dangerous on race day.

Save this one for your next training week. 🔥

PS - or just come into CoreFit and we’ll take you through everything 🙌

It’s actually pretty simple.

If you want to learn to cook incredible Italian food, spend more time in an Italian kitchen.

You’ll be surrounded by the right ingredients, learn from people who already know what they’re doing, and eventually… you’ll start cooking that way too.

Life works the same way.

Want to move more? Find people who move.
Want more adventure? Find people who say yes to adventure.
Want to take better care of yourself? Spend time with people who already make it a priority.

Put yourself in a kitchen filled with the ingredients you want in your life.

Before long, you won’t just be watching other people live that way.

It’ll simply be the way you live.

You didn’t become your younger self again.

You became someone who stopped waiting for tomorrow.

For years, you promised you’d start when life slowed down—when you had more time, motivation, or energy.

But the perfect time never came.

So you chose today.

You walked into CoreFit, gave yourself one hour, and started changing more than your workout.

The aches faded. You moved with more freedom, woke up stronger, and found a deeper love for yourself again.

Then you realized what was different this time.

The Coaches knew how to inspire you. The community encouraged you through the hard days, and you found yourself expanding your world with them.

Soon, showing up became something you wanted to protect.

Because that one hour began changing the other 23.

More energy. More confidence. More freedom to enjoy the people and moments that mattered.

You didn’t wait for a better life to begin.

You took one hour and started building it.

That future version of you?

You created them the moment you stopped waiting for tomorrow.

Your opportunity starts September 14.

New members train FREE through October 1, with the opportunity to add 1:1 Precision Coaching and take what you’re building even further.

The most common reason people give for not working out?

“I don’t have enough time.”

But that’s exactly why we train.

We don’t want fitness to consume your life. We want it to give you more life.

More energy when Friday afternoon rolls around and your friends want to head to the mountains.

More strength to carry the pack.

More confidence to enter the race.

More capacity to play with your kids, travel, ski, hike, paddle, run and keep saying YES to experiences for as many years as possible.

And maybe one of the most underrated parts of it all: more people to do those things with.

That’s what 17 years of CoreFit has continued to teach us.

The workout matters.

But what the workout allows you to do outside these walls matters even more.

Our next program begins September 14.

We’re combining strength, endurance and our Fitness Foundations with the coaching, accountability and community that help you actually keep doing it.

Because the goal isn’t to build your life around fitness.

It’s to use fitness to build a bigger life.
