Meridian Farm

The Meridian Farm team has had a fantastic few weeks to start wrapping up our 2026 season, with our friends at Monroe Farms and Meadow View Farm hosting two great show opportunities! Some of our ladies ventured up north last weekend to Monroe for their first ever schooling show, and host Caley did an amazing job organizing, decorating, and running a top notch show! With ribbons across the board (including a derby win for 5yo Apollo!) our ladies had a blast and the horses gave it their all in both rings!

This weekend wrapped up the Columbia Outreach series at MVF, with division titles for several of our pairs and top ribbons in multiple divisions. Highlights include .80s reserve champion for Emma and Pimlico, 2’ reserve for Margie and Pimlico, .70s reserve for Tyra and Khalamity, 2’6” and .80s champion for Apollo and Gia, 18” reserve and 2’ champion for Millie and Maggie (who is our newest addition to the team behind MF and catch rode this young mare to great results!!! More to come on Maggie soon😁) and so many more excellent rides and results for the whole team!

Congratulations to all of our riders - your hard work this year has paid off, and we are so thrilled to be a part of the journey with you all!! We have such a special team of horses and riders and we are so grateful for each of you! 💜

ISO - Stall cleaners for quality barn on the south end of Spokane! Must be reliable, with good attention to detail. Experience preferred but will train the right person! Hours are somewhat flexible. ISO: Care Lease for a lesson horse in a quality hunter/jumper program!

Perfect candidate:

✨ 14.2-16h (ish!)

✨ older is fine, maintenance is fine, must just be serviceably sound!

✨ no breed preference, temperament is key. MUST be safe and sane! No buck/bolt/rear and must be safe on the ground. Minimal spook please!

✨ must be well schooled w/t/c and at least some experience & aptitude for jumping. Won’t be asked to do a ton, but ideally should be able to handle the occasional schooling show at the low levels.

We offer a full-care program with great turnout, quality hay and feed provided, on-site staff and barn owners, three trainers nearby and on site daily, schooling rides as needed, space to ride outdoors, a derby field in development, gallop track, massive indoor arena, 12x12 stalls, a top-notch vet and farrier team, and so much more!

Project Deep Clean is well underway, with the final touches going in before horses get to move back up!! Huge thank you to the whole team at Westar for putting in so much work cleaning up the barn - from top-to-bottom power-washing to oiling the wood stall fronts, this beautiful barn has never looked better! 😍 we are so grateful to call this incredible facility home!

Another wonderful (albeit damp) week at Cascade for the MF team! These ladies were troopers through some pretty wild weather and the horses handled the puddles like champs. We had lots of learning, growth, and laughter all week - we’re already counting down to next year!

Some team highlights:

Liz and Edison took on their first show together, with a TON of growth for this new partnership - learning each other in and out of the show ring and getting Liz back to showing after a long hiatus! Several top placings for this pair and we couldn’t be more excited for the two to continue developing as a team!

Gia and Apollo took on both rings this week and had great results in both hunters and jumpers, including a champion title for the jumper ring and reserve in the young horse class after in-hand, under saddle, and over fences phases. They also took third in a competitive Rosé All Day class to boot! 🍷

Tyra is newer to our crew, and took her young mare Khalamity out for her first rated show experience! Klammy was a superstar and exceeded all expectations, and Tyra kept us all laughing all week long. These two were frequently in the top ribbons and were just behind Gia in the Rosé class in fourth! Tyra’s positive energy, helpfulness, and hard work kept the team afloat this week, and we are beyond grateful for everything - thank you Tyra, and congratulations on a great first big outing for this youngster! We are thrilled for this pair’s continuing development and are so proud of the growth already underway.

Gia also brought her boy Petey, who is coming back to work after some vacation time - he kept things pretty laid back this week with just a few lower classes, but he’s feeling great and looking even better.

All in all - a great final hurrah for our travel season, and we’re ready to wind down the summer with a few local shows and a whole lot of winter homework! (Though we’d be okay with a few less puddle adventures 🤪)

We’ve gotten very lucky with some clean air this week, but we’re still giving our horses’ delicate lung tissue plenty of time to recover! Until we return to full work, we’ve gotten the course reset for some lowkey polework this weekend as they come back from time off.

Our wonderful barn owners have been working hard getting the main barn cleaned up this summer and we’re looking forward to moving (for the last time for a long time!!🤪) in a few weeks! The whole team has been working on various improvements around the facility and we’re very much looking forward to getting back in the full swing of things as we head towards the fall shows!

Allison has been having so much fun with her new partner Selah, one just wasn’t enough! Congrats Allison on the purchase of Manila 58 - we are so excited to continue developing not one but two new partnerships with you! This seven year old Holsteiner is a stunning three-ring prospect and we can’t wait to see her blossom. Thank you to Jonelle and team with Ramsay Equine Select for helping us make this match!

The MF team is putting out feelers for a school horse to add to our barn! Ideal candidate is a long-term care lease, 15.3-16.2ish, no breed preference but stouter, quieter types preferred. Should have some experience jumping but doesn’t need to be a schoolmaster - MUST be well mannered on the ground and experienced on the flat. Serviceably sound is fine.

Our program provides 5-star care including an excellent team of vets and farriers, chiro and massage routinely, quality hay and grain/supplements as needed, ample turnout all day with 12x12 stalls at night, and on-site staff and owners (with trainers less than ten minutes up the road!) dedicated to the care and well-being of each horse on the farm. The facility also boasts a 100x250 indoor arena with well-maintained footing, along with several outdoor riding spaces to keep things interesting. We are in no hurry, as finding the perfect fit for our program is the most important thing, but let us know if you’ve got a horse that might work! DM or call/text to chat!

Our program emphasizes quality horsemanship and flatwork as the foundation to everything else; the horses come first, always! We tailor a plan for each horse and rider, discussing goals, dreams, challenges, and needs of each party to make sure you’ve got everything you need to succeed and grow in your partnership.
