Renovation Update at Fairmount Memorial Park
Canyon View and Hillcrest Cremation Gardens, along with Sunset Chapel and Mausoleum, are under construction as we remodel and improve these spaces.
All unauthorized decor will be removed and stored. Please collect your items at the cemetery office by Monday, October 5, 2026.
We understand these items may hold special meaning and appreciate your cooperation during this work. Thank you for your patience as we care for these places of remembrance.

Hello Quilt Club friends!

It’s time for our next quarterly gathering, and this time we’re heading to the WSQ Quilt Show! We’d love for you to join us on Friday, October 16, at 9:00 a.m. We’ll meet at the entrance to the Spokane Fairgrounds, then walk through the show together.
There’s something special about seeing quilts in person: the colors, the details, and the stories stitched into each one. We’ll have a chance to admire the displays, share ideas, and spend some time together doing something we all enjoy. We’re especially excited to see two quilts by our very own Kellie Marie Plumlee featured in the show. Please join us in cheering her on!

Planning to come? Please email us at [email protected] so we know how many friends to look for at the entrance. Whether you’ve been quilting for years or simply love seeing what others create, we’d be delighted to explore the show with you.
We hope to see you there!

Every sunrise is a quiet reminder that love, like light, carries on.

There’s something especially peaceful about the cemetery in the early morning hours. A new day, a beautiful view, and a quiet place to remember those we love.

Michael O’Connor, our Care Team Lead and Supervisor, has been instrumental in ensuring that each team member positively contributes to the team. He has led the team through various transitional periods of operations with grace, patience, and steadfastness.

Michael and his team are entrusted with the important responsibility of caring for our decedents. He leads by example and is someone we can trust to take ownership of the care center. He is a highly trained, skilled, and experienced professional who makes it possible for families to say one final goodbye to their loved ones.

Michael has a strong work ethic and is someone we have come to rely on. We never have to worry about whether he will show up, take responsibility, or be there for his team. His dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the families we serve are truly appreciated.

Congratulations, Michael! We appreciate you and all that you do!
