Back in 1992, twin brothers Paul and Scott Jacob were juggling being full time college students and full time swing-shift employees at a produce warehouse. They weren’t fulfilled with the directions their lives were headed and knew they needed a change. One day, Paul took a road trip across the state and while driving around noticed a drive thru espresso stand. A light bulb went off in his head and he realized Spokane needed drive thru coffee! He shared the idea with his brother. They purchased an old photo development stand, moved it to its location on 6th and Washington, quit their jobs and college, and the rest is history! Jacob’s Java now has five stands, with a sixth stand, including indoor seating, in the works! For over two decades Jacob’s Java has been serving some of the finest coffee around, made from our own coffee roasting company, Gemelli Coffee Roastery. To this day, you’ll often find Paul and Scott in one of our stands creating handmade coffee concoctions for customers. Hello customers! Just a quick announcement regarding construction near our Sixth & Washington location. 📍
They will be doing construction on both Sixth AND Washington street until the end of October. You can currently get into the stand by heading south up Stevens and turning east onto Sixth. We greatly appreciate any and all support as this construction will likely slow business down a bit for us. 🫶

A Note to Our Customers ☕️
We recently made some big changes to our credit card processing, gift card, and rewards systems. Getting all six locations switched over has been a bigger challenge than we anticipated, and we’ve experienced a few bumps along the way.
We’ve also made the change to have sales tax added at checkout rather than including it in our prices, which has understandably caught some of you by surprise.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through these changes. We’re working hard behind the scenes to get everything running smoothly again! We are so grateful for your continued support.

We wanted to give a shout out to Jurnee! ✨
She has been with us at Jacob's Java for 10 years now! She also JUST celebrated her birthday and got engaged (!!!) 🥂
Jurnee is our morning girlie out at our Airway Heights location. Her favorite coffee is a white chocolate powder and salted caramel americano w/ cream. And if she’s not working in the stand, she probably relaxing at her home with her animals or side by siding at her property.
We are so grateful for you Jurnee! Give her some love next time you see her! 🫶
