Jesus ultimately tells the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10) to show us what God is like toward us. This is what Jesus asks us to be like toward others in our lives. As a church, we have always been committed to this mission of reaching the world, one person at a time. We have always been committed to hearing Jesus speak and responding to him. I pray you have a heart that responds to his leading in your life today! People who learn to give, receive a massive gift from God himself. The gift of freedom and mercy flowing through us. Jesus wants more for us than he does from us. Jesus soften our hearts today.

55 Connect Groups are launching this week! Wow. Thank you Jesus. We had a powerful time praying and commissioning group leaders as they lead and love this fall.

Spiritual growth happens in community. If you aren’t already connected - our groups are the perfect place to find your people! We are praying Jesus grace and power over each of these groups! That God’s mercy would flow through these groups to help people become who Jesus made us to be.

Jesus transform our hearts that we may give our life and give our all for your GLORY!! The gift of giving. 🔥

Sunday, I preached out of John 15 where Jesus says, ‘I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.’ I was so struck by this. The way for us to have healthy and thriving relationships, is to first connect with Jesus so intimately that HIS joy makes us complete. No human could ever complete our joy. We are all way too flawed for that. ONLY JESUS! As we Pursue him with all our hearts, we find our joy complete in him. Then we are able to love and connect with others. The only way you have anything to bring to connection, is when Jesus is working in you.

In our own ability and strength we don’t have what it takes. Only by the grace and love and joy of Jesus inside us do we have connection to offer. Vulnerability. Honesty. Celebration. All of it flows from our connection to Jesus.

THE POWER OF CONNECTION.

“I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.” John 15:11-17
