What a beautiful day of connection in our community! This past Saturday, Frontier Behavioral Health and our 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline team were grateful to be part of Hands Across Spokane, joining community members and local organizations for a day centered around connection, support and hope.
We loved having the opportunity to share information about local behavioral health resources, spread awareness about 988 and connect with so many wonderful people throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, learn more about our services or simply spend a few moments with us. We’re always grateful for opportunities to show up, connect and remind our community that support is available when you need it.

Yesterday, Frontier Behavioral Health and our 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline team had the opportunity to spend the day at Fairchild Air Force Base for their Out of the Darkness Walk & Safety Expo, raising awareness about su***de prevention and sharing how to get help.
We loved connecting with service members, sharing information about local behavioral health resources and 988, and having meaningful conversations about how 988 can support our military and veteran communities.
A huge thank you to Fairchild AFB for inviting us and making us feel so welcome! We’re grateful for opportunities like this that allow us to build connections, strengthen community partnerships, and make sure people know support is always available when they need it.
And we spy a familiar face on Fairchild’s page! Check out Thomas representing 988 and sharing some 988 education with attendees during the event. Fairchild Air Force Base ✨✨ Fairchild Air Force Base 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline Frontier Behavioral Health

Today is ! This year’s theme, “988 Reasons: Your reason is reason enough,” is an important reminder that you don’t have to wait until you’re in crisis to reach out for support. Maybe you’re overwhelmed. Maybe you’re grieving, feeling anxious or lonely, worried about someone you love, or simply having a hard day and need someone to listen.
Whatever your reason, your reason is enough.
Frontier Behavioral Health is proud to be part of the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline network, providing 24/7 support to communities across Eastern Washington.
If you or someone you know needs support, call or text 988 or chat with the 988 Lifeline. You’ll be connected with someone who is there to listen, support and help—without judgment. This 988 Day, help us spread the word. You never know who may need the reminder that support is only three numbers away. 💜
We’re out in the community today! 💚
FBH is spending the afternoon at the Lilac Plaza Wellness Fair, connecting with residents and sharing information about the behavioral health resources and support available in our community.
We’re always grateful for opportunities like this to meet people where they are, build connections, and help spread the word about available resources. 😊
Thank you to Lilac Plaza for having us!

September is Su***de Prevention & Awareness Month 💜
Behind every conversation about su***de prevention is a person- a friend, family member, coworker, neighbor, or community member who may be struggling in ways we cannot see. At Frontier Behavioral Health, su***de prevention is more than something we recognize in September. It’s work our teams are part of every day. FBH operates the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline for Eastern Washington, connecting people in our region with trained crisis professionals who are here to listen, provide support, and help during moments that feel overwhelming.
Reaching out can be difficult. Sometimes it starts with a call or text. Sometimes it’s simply saying, “I’m not okay.” Every one of those moments matters. This month, we encourage you to check in on the people around you, talk openly about mental health, and remind those you care about that they don’t have to face a crisis alone.
If you or someone you know is struggling, simply call or text 988. Support is available 24/7. For ongoing mental health services, visit fbhwa.org/about/referrals (link in bio). You matter. Your story matters. Help is here.
