Off-road + Bible Study + worship + camping ⛺️ = His presence

How do you encounter God?
🏕️ Turns out, Pastor John can encounter God without a textbook! 😂
He usually encounters Him while nerding out in textbooks and studying… but this past weekend reminded us that there are many ways to encounter God.
Sometimes it looks like opening your Bible around a campfire. 🏕️
Sometimes it sounds like worship under an open sky.
Sometimes it’s getting a little dirty off-roading, laughing until your stomach hurts, sharing meals, serving one another, and simply slowing down enough to recognize His presence.
And wow… we experienced His presence. ❤️ His overwhelming love felt so near and so powerful.
God is not distant. He is near.
We’re so grateful for the Sabbath, a chance to unplug, breathe, worship, study the Word, fellowship, serve one another, and enjoy the people God has placed around us.
So if you’ve been waiting for the “perfect time” to get away… GO. 💨
Put the phone down.
Get outside.
Take the family.
Invite some friends.
Go camping. Go off-roading. Sit around a fire. Open your Bible. Worship together.
You might be surprised what happens when you slow down long enough to notice God has been there all along. 🙌
Work hard. Rest well. Worship often. Get outside. ❤️🏕️
