Many Christians are intoxicated but not with drugs or alcohol. They are intoxicated with comfort. They are intoxicated by hearing words from the pulpit that leads to complacency not conviction and repentance. I said this before and I will keep saying it, if you are not going forward, you are going backwards. If you are not running the race, you are backsliding. There is no neutral or parking in the Christian walk.

How dangerous is it to hide my sin? How devastating to my physical body if I live a double life? Can you imagine the hand of the Lord being heavy upon you and losing the sense of His presence?

Praise the Lord for the sacrificial work of Christ on the cross. The blessedness upon blessedness of being forgiven and my sin shall He remembers no more. My brother and sister, I encourage you, don’t hide your sin and don’t deceive yourself. Let us live in the light

Ask yourself, what happens when someone is Crucified with Christ?

What does it means that you don’t live anymore the way you used to live? How should your life be if Christ is living in you?

Finally, Am I living by faith in Christ, am I trusting in the One that loves me and died for me?

I encourage you to meditate and to examine your heart in this One verse and ask the Holy the Holy Spirit to reveal and to change me and to come with a heart of humility to the throne of grace.

Is there a connection between what God says to Israel in Hosea 4 and what He sees in the United States today? I keep encouraging everyone, do not sit home when there is an opportunity to dig in God’s Word. Thursday at 7pm.

Read 2 Timothy 3:1-15

Paul makes a list of the rebellious heart of many in the church today. They have a form of godliness, they put on a great mask but their heart is filled with selfishness and worldly lusts. Their love for the Lord are mere words not obedience and sacrifice. Paul says, “..of such people turn away”

I encourage you to examine your heart as you read these verses and repent and let us live with sincerity and a zeal to love Jesus and to live in obedience to His Word.
