Safety Week Recap!

This week was all about building confidence and practicing life-saving water safety skills!

Our swimmers worked hard on everything from floating and safe entries/exits to learning what to do in an emergency. While swimming is fun, knowing how to stay safe in and around the water is the most important skill of all.

We're so proud of every swimmer for giving it their best effort this week! 👏🏊‍♀️

Always designate a Water Watcher! 👀🏊‍♀️

When children are in or around the water, choose one responsible adult to actively watch them at all times. Avoid distractions like phones, conversations, or chores.

Remember: Drowning is often silent and can happen in seconds.

- Stay within arm's reach of young swimmers.
- Keep distractions away.
- Never assume someone else is watching.
- life vest and arm floats are not substitutions for watching.

A few seconds of attention can save a life.
