Melrose Assembly #167 IORG

A bittersweet night as we congratulate Kaitlyn on reaching the age of majority! We were happy to have others join us from the area. Congratulations Kaitlyn!

Today, our assembly was honored to es**rt the new officers of our sponsoring body, Spring Lodge no. 1174 during their installation for the 26-27 year. Congratulations!

Melrose presented the Masonic Ribbon ceremony this evening, as well as the Worshipful Master with a miniature lambskin apron. Wonderful job ladies! We greatly appreciate the support we receive from Spring Lodge no. 1174!

Rainbow Sunday is always a great Sunday! Melrose girls and adults attended Cypress Creek Christian Church together this morning. The gentlemen skipped out on the picture. 😂

Over the past six months, our assembly has been hard at work on a meaningful service project: assembling blessing bags for individuals experiencing homelessness. With generous support from local Order of the Eastern Star chapters, the girls collected hygiene items and essentials to include in each bag.

Members met several times to sort donations, assemble the bags, and make sure every detail was thoughtfully prepared. Their teamwork and enthusiasm made the project not only successful, but truly uplifting.

Last week, our Worthy Advisor delivered the completed blessing bags to Compassion United, a local organization dedicated to supporting those in need. We’re proud of the girls for their dedication and grateful to everyone who contributed to making this project possible.

Many thanks to these OES Chapters and Masonic Lodges who helped us complete our project: Humble Chapter, Rosenberg Chapter, Goosecreek Chapter, Mary Martha Chapter, and Spring Masonic Lodge #1174.

Today they girls attended Mid Year and it looked a little different! Over all they had a great day and learned a lot of new things, met and saw old and new friends!
