Alianza Preschool - Spring

🚽 We recently hosted Potty Learning: Ready, Set, Go! — a workshop dedicated to our Alianza families, where our team shared how to recognize the real signs of readiness, support the process at home, and keep school and family aligned so it becomes a positive, respectful milestone for your child.

Potty learning isn't a race — it isn't the same for every child. This is a practical conversation for parents who want to follow their child's pace, not a calendar. 💛

✨Light Experience 💡🖐️

As light passed through colorful shapes, our infants reached, touched, moved, and observed each transformation. Through this simple yet meaningful exploration, they began discovering color, form, transparency, and the relationship between light and shadow.

Every movement supported visual tracking, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and an early understanding of cause and effect. In these quiet moments of wonder, curiosity becomes the beginning of learning. 🌈

🇺🇸Our little learners celebrated Labor Day by stepping into a mini city of professions!

Through dramatic play, they explored construction, baking, medicine, gardening, firefighting, mail delivery, cooking, and veterinary care. 👷‍♀️🍎🚒

With their own worker badges, children completed fun challenges while practicing teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.

To end the experience, they created thank-you cards for our school staff and their families, recognizing the value of their work. 💛

✨ Once upon a time… Parents’ Night Out became a magical pajama adventure!

On September 18, our little ones will step into an enchanted world inspired by classic fairy tales — building, exploring, creating, playing, and solving magical challenges along the way. 🌲👑

From helping the Three Little Pigs and searching for Cinderella’s missing shoe to hunting for Jack’s magic beans, every activity is designed to spark imagination and fun.

And the perfect ending? Cozy pajamas, popcorn, and Disney’s Tangled. 🍿

✨ Discovery. 🦋

Inspired by the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar, our children explored light, movement, and transformation through an experience filled with curiosity. As they watched the marks appear and change, they discovered how light passes through different materials and transforms what we see.

Through questions, careful observation, and their own little theories, they explored the fascinating life cycle of a butterfly and discovered that learning also happens when we touch, observe, experiment, and allow ourselves to be amazed. 🌱🐛🦋

📖✨ This September, our classrooms are stepping into the magical world of Once Upon Familiar Tales!

Through stories, art, music, dramatic play, and hands-on experiences, our little learners will explore familiar characters while building creativity, language, imagination, and problem-solving skills.

Along the way, we’ll also celebrate our Core Value of the Month: Kindness 💛 through friendship, empathy, caring words, and thoughtful actions.
