CYCLE Houston's visit to Housman Elementary in brought the energy and excitement for 2nd grade readers eager to set goals, sign contracts and participate in 's Earn-A-Bike program. Special thanks to Housman volunteers and staff for inviting us to the Learning Zone and collaborating with us to improve literacy at this Title I school. Go Mustangs!

Let’s Make This Year One for the Books and Bikes!

Thanks to you, CYCLE supported 89 schools, powered 6,000+ volunteer hours, delivered 9,000 brand‑new bikes, and surpassed 200,000 bikes earned since we began. Your generosity keeps Houston’s little readers rolling forward with joy, pride, and long‑term success. We are excited to celebrate every milestone with you as we help even more young readers build literacy and earn their own bikes!

We want to give a HUGE shout-out of thanks to the Goodman Ace Counseling Department in ISD for the lovely tokens of appreciation bestowed upon CYCLE Houston Executive Director Rebecca Roberts after Monday's pep rally!

CYCLE Houston pep rallies continue to roll across the region, building excitement and literacy skills for 2nd-grade students in Houston-area Title I schools.
