We’re thrilled to welcome Anna to Bayou Land Conservancy, where she leads daily operations—turning board-directed strategy into action and advancing community-driven climate solutions.

Growing up in a flood-prone coastal neighborhood sparked Anna’s passion for nature-based resilience. From Belize and New York City to Galveston, TX, she has helped champion efforts to build stronger, more resilient communities.

Anna holds a Ph.D. in Geosciences from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Anthropology from Stony Brook University.

We’re grateful for the perspective, expertise, and passion she brings to this role. Welcome, Anna! We can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make. 💚

As our new Senior Stewardship Manager, Lily will manage partnerships with BLC’s conservation easement landowners and oversee stewardship of our fee-owned lands. With a background in biology, ecology, and environmental science—and experience with two other land trusts—she brings knowledge and passion for conservation to the role.
