Old Town Spring would not be what it is without the people who continue to show up for it.
We are grateful for every visitor who spends an afternoon exploring, returns to a favorite business, brings someone new to town, or makes Old Town Spring part of a family tradition. Every visit helps keep this community going and gives its stories a chance to continue.
We are equally grateful for the merchants who fill these historic streets with new experiences, along with the volunteers and community members who give their time and care to the events and details that make this place special.
On World Gratitude Day, we simply want to say thank you for being part of Old Town Spring.
National Dance Day may have been yesterday, but the dancing continues in Old Town Spring.
One thing people may not realize is that Old Town Spring has its own dance academy. Achieve Dance Academy is part of the community, giving local dancers a place to learn, practice, and grow right here in town.

Inside the antique shops and tucked among shelves of vintage décor, collectibles, and unusual treasures, there are pieces that have already lived a life before finding their way here. Some bring back a memory, while others are simply too interesting to leave behind.

Some Old Town Spring businesses have been part of this community for decades, welcoming generations of visitors through their doors.
The Doll Hospital has called Old Town Spring home since 1987, while Just for the Birds opened in 1994. The Hat People has spent more than 30 years helping customers find the perfect finishing touch, and German Gift House has shared authentic German gifts and traditions with visitors since 2008.
Each one offers something completely different, but together they represent the people, stories, and specialty shops that have helped shape the Old Town Spring experience over the years.
These are only a few of the longtime businesses worth celebrating, and we look forward to sharing more of their individual stories soon. Which of these shops have you visited?
Healthcare in Spring once looked very different.
Some of the town’s earliest doctors made house calls and accepted chickens, eggs, or even land as payment. After the last local doctor retired in the 1940s, Spring went without a physician of its own until a clinic opened in 1965.
Thankfully, medical care has come a long way since then, although paying a copay with a carton of eggs might make things interesting.
