‘Teenage Deathtrap’ is a beautiful written, utterly devastating read. Following the story of Hannah and Harry dragged me through a roller coaster of emotions. Melissa’s writing easily captures the nostalgia of the early 90s effortlessly. She’s a master at crafting characters you can relate to and get lost in…as well as creating villains that you hate with every fiber of your being. I only wish that I could go back and read it again for the first time. This is a fast paced, gloriously bittersweet book that I couldn’t put down.

Get ready for my bloodiest, heartbreaking, and most horrifying novel I’ve ever written. ‘Teenage Deathtrap : a horror novel’ is set in 1991 and follows Hannah King, who is a documented seer of death as she has a fourth prediction of a prom massacre. Hannah, her twin brother harry, and an ex-pro-skateboarder Jake are gonna do everything to cancel prom or die trying.

Leigh Bardugo is my favorite author of all time, and finally the third and final book in the series is complete. But first I have to reread the first two books so I can remember all the insane things that happened to Alex at Yale.
Therefore, these three books are booked number 58, 59, and 60 of 2026

Yesterday I had the most amazing time meeting the cast of LOST, alongside my dear friend Leah/Echo (the polar bear) 🐻‍❄️, and meeting fellow LOSTies FAN EXPO Dallas

I got to talk to Jorge Garcia (Hurley), and I told him I was so happy that he ‘won’ the island, which made him laugh, and he said that he’d never heard someone phrase it that way.

Next, I got to have a moment with Terry O’Quinn (Locke), who told me that his time on LOST was an actor’s dream, and that he remembered filming ‘The Moth’ (the picture I had him sign), and not only was he very proud of that episode, but he knew that his character was very proud of helping Charlie get sober in that episode.

Together, my dear friend Leah and I (I only met because of the AMAZING podcast Lauren Gets Lost Podcast ) went to a panel with Josh Holloway (Sawyer), in which he said that he loves the ending of the show, and he believes that the show was really about the connections between the characters and not necessarily the mysteries. He also said that the fan theory that Juliet was pregnant before she died - one he’d never heard before- made him very, very sad. And that what we actually saw on the episode was the second time they had filmed the scene in which Juliet had died. Apparently, the first time they filmed it, it was too dark, and he jokingly said, ‘Why didn’t you tell us when we were bawling our eyes out?’ He said he was very proud of the acting he did in that scene, and that he and Elizabeth Mitchell worked together. He also said he loved the scenes in the cages and the raft.

Finally, my favorite polar bear and I got a picture with Charlie, Sawyer, Locke, and Hurley. Dominic Monaghan said that Leah had the best cosplay of the day, and in the panel when Leah asked a question, Josh said, ‘I just shot a bear!’ You could really tell the four actors were enjoying their time together, and they were so friendly.

Overall, one of the top things I’ve experienced - as I’ve been a LOST fan from the beginning - is that I’m happy for everyone I met, and see ya in another life, brother!

I’ll do much more heartfelt post about how much today meant to me and how awesome it was to share it with Leah later but for now just know today was a top five day of my life.
