Scholastic Book Fair is just one week away! Families can shop the fair with their students during lunch/recess or at our Thursday night Prime Time event Oct. 8 from 5-6:30pm.

✨ Learning Beyond the Classroom! ✨
This week, our 5th graders enjoyed an exciting field trip to the Hobby Center, where they experienced the ExxonMobil Discovery Series performance De Aquí by the Mezclada Dance Company! 💃🏽🎶
Our students had the opportunity to experience the power of dance, music, and storytelling while celebrating culture, creativity, and community. It was a wonderful way to bring learning to life and expose our students to the arts right here in our own community! ❤️
We are so proud of our 5th graders for representing our school and making the most of this memorable experience!
And that’s a wrap on Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week!
We ended the week in style with “Quince Day”—dressing up, celebrating tradition, and dancing our way into the weekend!

Working on fine motor skills doesn’t have to be boring!
Before our little learners are expected to pick up a pencil and write, we need to strengthen those tiny muscles in their hands and fingers!
This fun activity works on fine motor skills and bilateral coordination—using both hands together—which can be challenging for some of our young learners.
And of course, we had to sneak in a little math!
After clipping away, students counted to see how many they clipped!
Learning, strengthening, and having fun all at the same time!

👩🍳👨🍳 Order Up, Kindergartners! 🍽️
Our kindergartners took turns being the “chef” and filling customer orders! Each order card showed a specific number of manipulatives to count and add to the order.
Then came the important part—the customer had to count, check, and make sure their order was just right!
Learning math skills through hands-on play makes learning meaningful, engaging, and FUN!
