The second word is graph, which means to write. When we put the two together we have light writing. Photography is the written language of light. It is the tool by which photographers express what they see, feel and believe about the world around us. Photography can be used to tell stories (true or false), paint pictures, and journal history. A photograph can speak a thousand words, and a finely crafted one can speak millions. It is said that the pen is mightier than the sword. We can also say the camera is mightier than the atom bomb. The camera has told the stories of people rich and poor. It has revealed our good and bad. It has told our story. I am a (Light Writer) let me tell your story.
