The flesh craves destruction, while the Spirit leads to life. Understanding this constant battle between what God desires and what our own flesh wants is crucial. Choosing to walk by the Spirit means engaging in this fight.

Belonging to Christ means crucifying the flesh and its desires. When the Spirit controls your life, you exude love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Live by the Spirit and keep in step with it.
