On Sunday we continued our summer series, The Faith of Our Fathers, by looking at Abram’s journey of following God through the unknown.

While Abram didn’t do it perfectly and tried his own Plan B’s, God still provided and kept His covenant with Abram.

Happy Father’s Day!

Today we celebrate all the wonderful dads, grandfathers, and father figures who show up every day.

We finished out 3 John this past Sunday focusing in on 3 John 11-15. In these verses John writes words of encouragement to imitate good and to be in Christian community.

Our faith isn’t meant to be lived out in isolation but in a community of believers local to us to encourage, love, and care for another.

Join Risen Women this summer, starting June 17, as we study the book of Galatians and discover the freedom found in Christ alone!

Through guiding questions and historical context, we'll explore how salvation and holiness come through faith, not human effort, and gain a deeper understanding of the freedom, grace, and identity we have in Jesus.

Registration costs $35, and the book is included. Childcare is available at $20 for the first kid, and then $5 for each additional kid.

3 John 9-10 are full of warnings for the church to watch out for in the body of believers. Sean hit on three main things to watch out for in fellow believers and in the body of the church.

Every 5th Sunday at Risen Church is Missions Sunday! It's one of our favorite days as we get to hear updates from our mission partners in both Papua New Guinea and the Netherlands.

They both provided exciting updates about life and how the Lord is working in these places, and also offered ways we can better pray for them during this season.

3 John 5-8 teaches us why we are to love believers, how to love and why we are to love other believers: for the sake of the name.
