Lord, draw my grandchildren close to You. Help them to come to know You in a deep and committed way so that their relationship with You grows every day. Teach them to understand Your laws and commandments, and help them keep Your ways faithfully. Enable them to be so strong in Your Word that they inspire their own parents and friends. Show my grandchildren’s parents and me how to communicate Your Word to them in ways they understand and retain so that they are always drawn to it.

I pray You will put Your laws in the mind and heart of each of my precious grandchildren so that they will make decisions to live Your way. Give each one a heart that wants to draw near to You so that You will draw near to them. Show them that the world can never answer to their deepest longings. Help them to see that their greatest priority in life is to love You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength (see Mark 12:30). And in doing that, You will supply all their needs.

Teach my grandchildren to be praying people. Help me to pray with them every opportunity I have. Teach their parents to pray with them too so that they grow to know the fulfillment of communicating with You. Teach them to call upon You for everything. Guide them on the path You have for them. Give them a desire to grow closer to You every day and follow You all the days of their lives.

Hello, Family Life!
This Sunday, beginning at 9am, we will resume Sunday Morning Classes! Our children and youth will pick up where they left off – studying God’s Word and growing in their relationship with the Lord.
The Adult Sunday Class will begin a new series that can set you free and change your life! We will be viewing a teaching session from “Bait of Satan” by John Bevere. Then, we will close out the last half of the class with a group discussion.
The full title of the book is “The Bait of Satan: Living Free from the Deadly Trap of Offense”. In a world where people get offended by the smallest things, we, as followers of Christ, can learn how to avoid this most deceptive snare used by the enemy to derail believers from God’s will.
Offense leads to bitterness, anger, distrust, and eventually hatred. We cannot afford to get caught in its trap. It is guaranteed that in this life, you will encounter hurts, mistreatment, and disappointments. But we can learn to respond in the proper way, because: Your response to offense determines your future.
We hope you will come be a part of this study. We feel it is a vital teaching every believer should learn and review in the years to follow. You’ll never regret investing in this series.
