This morning I packed away the summer suits and beach chairs as I begin to prepare for fall and the fun it will bring. Though tomorrow is the first day of August, and summer is still in full swing for some, for me it has come to an end.

Recently, I stood below the old South Carolina oak trees where the moss swayed in the breeze and was reminded of Sanderling Pointe Island, the location in Without Reservations.
