Springboro Area Historical Society

As with many of the Springboro Area Historical Society's events, we're once again asking for a few helping hands to make our upcoming Ice Cream Social on Sunday, August 16 a success.

Events like this are only possible because of volunteers like you. Whether it's helping with set-up, serving ice cream, greeting visitors, or cleaning up afterward, every volunteer plays an important role in creating a welcoming event for our community while helping us share Springboro's history.

The Springboro Area Historical Society and Museum is a sponsor of the 4th Grade History Pass Plus!

We encourage all Springboro students who were 4th graders last year to come visit the museum!

Great activities through the month of July!

1. If you enjoy the heat, make an art display on our sidewalk. Chalk is provided on our top step.
2. Get a patriotic photo in the upper lobby. (Backdrop and photo props provided.)
3. UGRR story books provided. in the UGRR room.
4. Coloring pages and word searches in the Heritage Room.

*** Actually, we invite kids of all ages for the activities above as well as the one below!
The Annual Kid's History Hunt is also available. This is throughout downtown.

Our Museum Monday post thanks the members of the SHS Class of 1966 who spent a bit of their Saturday at the museum.
