09/06/2026 - At approximately 10:50 p.m., the Springfield Police Department received reports of a road rage incident involving a Toyota Prius, during which a handgun was allegedly brandished. Officers located the vehicle in the McDonald’s drive-thru on South National Avenue. Two suspects were taken into custody, and a handgun was recovered from the vehicle.

09/06/2026 - At approximately 10:00 p.m., the Springfield Police Department and Mercy EMS responded to a report of an unconscious, unresponsive male on North Weller Avenue. Later, officers returned to the same address in response to a separate call for an unknown incident.

09/06/2026 - At approximately 9:00 p.m., the Springfield Police Department, Springfield Fire Department, and Mercy EMS responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident at the intersection of South Glenstone Avenue and East Delmar Street. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

08/21/2026 - At approximately 11:16 p.m., the Springfield Fire Department, Springfield Police Department, Greene County Sheriff’s Office, and EMS responded to a rollover crash with one person reported trapped at the intersection of North West Bypass and West Chestnut Expressway. no injuries were reported.

08/21/2026 - At approximately 10:45 p.m., the Greene County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a suspected DWI at the Phillips 66 gas station located at Kearney Street and North Weller Avenue. The driver was arrested after failing field sobriety tests.

08/20/2026 - At approximately 11:00 PM, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Springfield Police Department, Springfield Fire Department, and EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Kansas Expressway and Atlantic Street. No serious injuries were reported.

08/17/2026 – At approximately 8:50 p.m., the Ozark Fire Department, Nixa Fire Protection District, Springfield Fire Department, and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a house fire on South 17th Street in Ozark, Missouri. The fire was extinguished, and no further details have been released regarding the cause of the fire.

08/14/2026 – The Springfield Fire Department, City Utilities, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, accompanied by On Patrol: Live, responded to a vehicle that struck a light pole on West Bypass and Farm Road 142.

August 12th
Springfield police, Fire, Mercy EMS and Springfield City utilities responded to a call of an elderly woman who drove through a vacant building behind 610 E battlefield road. She was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
