Sporting Springfield

It's a full house this weekend, Sporting Springfield! 💙⚽

Our teams are out in force with matchups all over the field, from our newest U4s and U5s all the way up through U17 girls. Lake Country has a jam-packed slate too, with games stacked from U8 through U13. AND we also have boys teams traveling to KC to compete in the Heartland league!

Up top, our ECNL and Pre-ECNL girls take the pitch at Allison Sports Town against FC Tulsa Academy, and our MLS NEXT boys square off against Lou Fusz.

👏 A big shoutout to our U12 Atletico boys and U10 Chicago Stars girls for battling their way to the finals at this weekend's Sporting Classic!

Both teams left it all on the field and represented Sporting Springfield with heart all weekend long. Proud of the effort, the growth, and the fight these teams showed from start to finish.

🏆 Congratulations to our U9 Manchester United girls on a Sporting Classic Championship this weekend! What a way to cap off the tournament.

Evianna, Charlotte, Kamryn, Suzie, Quinn, Waverly, Madi, Olive, Scarlett, and Eloise, we are so proud of the heart and teamwork you brought to every game. This is what happens when hard work comes together on the field.

Our ECNL and Pre-ECNL girls are in action at home, our boys are battling it out in MLS NEXT and NAL play, Lake Country has games all over the field, and several of our teams are battling it out in the Sporting Classic tournament in Kansas City.

And the best part? Our littlest ballers are officially kicking off in our Juniors program this weekend! Huge welcome to our newest Sporting Springfield family members; this is where it all begins. 🎉

Twenty-five years ago, our nation changed forever. Today we pause to remember the lives lost, honor the first responders who ran toward danger, and hold space for the families who still carry that day with them.

Back to school season is here! ☀️📚

This week, so many of our Sporting Springfield players traded cleats for backpacks as several local schools kicked off a new year. We couldn't be prouder of this group, not just for what they do on the field, but for how they show up in the classroom, in the hallways, and in their communities every single day.

Here's to a great year ahead. Work hard, be kind, and represent well wherever you are, on the field, in the classroom or otherwise.
