Pause for Paws Friday 🐾

This week’s spotlight is on Madison’s dog, Mugzy, who stopped by for a visit and showed off some of his tricks!

A few months ago, we were saddened by the passing of one of our longtime dialysis patients. We recently received this thoughtful card from his family. It is never easy to lose someone our crews had the privilege of getting to know and care for over the years. We truly appreciate his family thinking of us, and our deepest condolences continue to be with his loved ones. 💙

The patient’s name has been removed from the card to protect his privacy and comply with HIPAA.

Over the weekend Claire and Aidan stopped by to support the Westover Young Marines at their fundraising car wash!

Pause for Paws Friday 🐾

This week’s Pause for Paws is dedicated to the hundreds of dogs who served on September 11, 2001.

Bretagne searched through the devastation at Ground Zero and offered comfort to exhausted responders. Apollo was the first NYPD K-9 to arrive at the site. Guide dogs Roselle and Salty safely led their handlers, Michael Hingson and Omar Rivera, down from the 78th and 71st floors of the North Tower.

These are only a few of the remarkable dogs who searched, rescued, guided and comforted others that day and in the weeks that followed. Today, we pause to remember and honor them all. ❤

Remembering the lives lost and honoring the heroes of September 11, 2001. We will never forget.

A patient called to share his appreciation for Liam and Evan, who knew just how to keep him calm. He said they made him feel human, listened to him, and spent the ride sharing stories together.
