Holiday Inn Express & Suites Springfield-Medical District

🎉 Happy Birthday, Scott! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating Scott, whose quick wit and willingness to help make him such an appreciated part of our hotel family. We’re glad to have the chance to show him a little extra love on his birthday!

Scott takes responsibility for his work and follows through, giving our team someone we can count on. He’s generous with his time and makes himself available when others need a hand. That same care carries into his guest service, where he makes sure our guests feel welcome and well looked after.

Scott, thank you for all you do for our guests and your teammates—and for keeping us smiling along the way. From all of us at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Springfield Medical District, we wish you a wonderful birthday and a happy year ahead! 💙

🐾 Giving for Good! 🐾

Paige was happy to deliver the flats our team collected for Rescue One! 💙🐱

It may seem like a small thing, but these everyday items can be put to good use while Rescue One cares for animals in our community. Thank you to everyone who helped us collect them!

We love being able to support local organizations through IHG’s Giving for Good initiative.

💙 Giving for Good 💙

Our Holiday Inn Express & Suites Springfield Medical District crew recently volunteered with Convoy of Hope, helping pack 6,000 personal hygiene kits during Volunteer Night!

These kits will be distributed immediately to people affected by disasters in Venezuela, Nepal, Hawaii, Washington State, and other communities across the United States and around the world.

On someone’s worst day, something as simple as a toothbrush, shampoo, a washcloth, and a bar of soap can provide a small measure of comfort, dignity, and hope. We are grateful for the opportunity to work together and give back—one kit at a time.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Nadia! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating Nadia — someone you can always count on and someone whose kindness shows in the way she treats the people around her.

Nadia is reliable, generous, and genuinely caring. She has a heart for helping others and brings a steady, thoughtful presence to our team. And when it comes to the people she loves, family is always close to her heart. ❤️

We’re so glad to have Nadia as part of our Holiday Inn Express & Suites Springfield Medical District family.

Please join us in wishing her a very Happy Birthday! 🎂🎈

We’re celebrating World Water Week with a fun local twist at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Springfield Medical District. 💧🎶

Guests can join our Springfield Shower Song Challenge by scanning the QR code, playing “HOT TO GO!” by Chappell Roan, and seeing if they can finish their shower before the song ends.

What makes it even more fun? The places featured in the video were filmed right here in Springfield, and they’re all close to our hotel — making this a great way to highlight both water conservation and our local community.

It’s a simple, optional way to help save water while still enjoying a great stay. One song. One shower. Every drop counts.

Move-in today, graduation before you know it—we’ll keep a room ready for the visits in between. ❤️🐻

Welcome back to Springfield, Missouri State students and families! Whether you’re here for move-in, a weekend visit, Homecoming or one day that very big graduation weekend, we’d love to be your home away from home along the way.

Go Bears!

🇺🇸 Today is a very special day for one of our own! 🇺🇸

After 35 years in the United States, our wonderful Nadia officially became a United States citizen today, taking her Oath of Allegiance in Kansas City! ❤️🤍💙

Nadia has worked incredibly hard for this moment, and we could not be more proud of her. For the past 10 years, she has also been an important part of our hotel family. Those of us lucky enough to know her know how deeply she loves her family, how generous she is with others, and how much heart she brings to everything she does.

Nadia, we are so happy to celebrate this incredible milestone with you. Congratulations on becoming a U.S. citizen! 🇺🇸

Your hotel family is so proud of you!
