Springfield International Charter School is a well-regarded school that provides a high-quality education to a diverse student population in the Springfield area. The Springfield International Charter School (SICS) is a college preparatory school that provides top-quality education on a nonselective basis to all students. It teaches these students to perform to the best of their ability, to achieve academic excellence in a global context, and prepares graduates to attend colleges and universities. The school develops and strengthens students’ ethical, moral, and civic values, empowering them with the knowledge, skills, and social judgment they will need to face the challenges of the times. The school believes that students with a Springfield International Charter School education, especially in a multicultural setting, will be able to provide leadership throughout the world.
Each week, faculty and staff are invited to nominate a colleague for demonstrating that they are Bulldog Strong. The nominee will receive an award as well as the privilege of parking in the special red bulldog parking spot for the week.

Mr. Boyd has made a point of working with some of our tier 3 students and it has already paid dividends in the early stages of term one. Mr. Boyd has been a great addition to our school's community. “

She firmly believes that all students can succeed with the right support in place. Kate is readily available to answer questions and if she does not have an answer, she is sure to get one! Her dedication to her practice and helping others is a perfect example of Bulldog Strong! “

Are you in grades 7-12? Did you want to sign up for a fall sport, but didn't get a chance or forgot? IT'S NOT TOO LATE! Come train with us in Cross Country! We run the trails at Forest Park and at other schools. We also have strength and conditioning and stretching practices which are both great to prepare for upcoming seasons. Good afternoon SICS families,
We had a wonderful day back at school today, and we were very happy to welcome our students back!
We want to reassure our families that SICS is open and operating on our regular schedule. All school functions and daily operations are continuing as usual. Our staff is here, our classrooms are running normally, and we remain fully focused on providing our students with a safe, welcoming, and productive school day.
First Student school buses are operating on their usual schedules, and our food services are running as scheduled, with breakfast and lunch available to all students who would like a meal.
Please feel confident sending your child to school each day. Our SICS team is here and ready to support our students and families. Unless you receive an official communication from SICS stating otherwise, families should plan for school to operate on its regular schedule.
Thank you for your continued trust, support, and partnership. We look forward to seeing all of our students at school tomorrow!

"Bulldog Strong" means taking ownership of our responsibilities, following through on our commitments, holding ourselves to high expectations, persevering through challenges, and supporting one another so that every student and staff member can succeed.

(Submitted by Kevin White) - “Gladys is Bulldog Strong for many reasons. However, the one that has been most evident recently is the care and safety for all of our students. When a student is still waiting to be picked up after dismissal ends, she works tirelessly to make contact with the family and maintains constant communication with administration, even if this means staying well past her end time! As a follow through, Gladys makes sure that parent and emergency contact information is updated to make sure these situations do not happen again! “

“School will be in session tomorrow, Thursday, September 10th! This decision is not taken lightly, as we know how an extended break like this can affect our students and staff. This decision is a departure from past practice, as we still do not know if SPS will be in session. We look forward to getting back to school and are excited to welcome our students back.”
