Today I’m photographing hundreds of people for a headshot booth at a conference.

It’s so much fun to create headshots people love, especially when they’ve never liked one before.

Plus, what a great value add for your conference! It is so easy for people to just pop over between sessions and not have to make an appointment.

To paraphrase a client, “I want people to open up their feed and go what the hell is Cory up to today?”

(Today’s side quest is putting together a spooky set for the studio)

Little messages like this always make my day :)

Even when someone comes in for a quick headshot, that is still an opportunity to have amazing conversations and create some photo magic just like I did with Tom.

Jess wanted something a little retro and she told me she didn't want to shy away from color and textures in her photoshoot. With that, I knew we were going to create magic from the start! 😊

She booked her photoshoot to celebrate turning 40 and I am so excited to share how these turned out.

Truly, my favorite way to ring in a new year is to celebrate with a photoshoot. It is something that captures this moment and celebrates all that you are.

It is a day full of fun and then the images you will cherish for a lifetime and serve as a reminder of who you are, even on the hardest of days.

This is an invitation for YOU to celebrate who you are, step a little outside your comfort zone, and invest in yourself by booking your very own photoshoot.

I am here to celebrate you and capture dozens of images you love. Even if you have never loved a photo of yourself before.

-wanting to reconnect with a side of yourself outside of parenthood or work
-being in a place where you’ve done the work and finally love and are at peace with who you are

-divorce, a breakup, separation

-wanting a fun day of pampering

These are all wonderful and valid reasons to book a photoshoot, not that you need a reason to celebrate yourself today. “Just because” is more than enough!

My client just finished hanging up the portraits from her bo***ir session and I love how it turned out 💕

Wall art is a daily reminder that you are everything you were the day of your photoshoot: beautiful, brave, confident, etc.

I hear from people way to often, "Oh, I don't need anything of myself on the wall. I don't love myself that much."

Someone actually said that to me yesterday and I shrugged it off in the moment but then when I saw this photo of my client (another client) and her wall art come through I thought about yesterday's client said again.

That's actually really sad.

Do I expect you to have several images of yourself on the wall? No. But just to say that so casually to me, I'm sure you say things like that all the time. I hope you can be kinder to yourself.

I know what the woman in these photos went through to get to where she is now and to have photos she loved enough not to have just one but several of herself in her home. That fills my heart to know she could trust me with this chapter and to help capture these :)

It has been so wonderful to partner with Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks and help raise some money while also providing my clients with an amazing photoshoot experience!

Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks is such a great resource to this community. Helping with things such as free mammogram screenings and financial assistance for all the odds and ends of what goes into the daily strain it puts on families.

Nearly 1 out of 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Many of my clients have experienced breast cancer themselves or have seen a loved one go through treatments. This is why I am so happy we were able to raise some funds for them.
