Happy Friday! After a busy week we wanted to highlight why the YouthConnect Center is so important to the youth we serve, and to celebrate the successes of this young lady getting into a safe housing situation!

Want to support a youth’s cooking creativity? One of our shelter clients has recently gotten into preparing meals for the center. He has supplied us a list of his needs. If you are interested in donating an item here, please let us know! We would love to support his desire to give back and care for his peers.

Shout out to Springfield Police Department for bringing icecream to the YouthConnect Center this week for the youth!

In honor of Juneteenth the YouthConnect Center will be closed for drop in hours today. Shelter will open at 8pm.

Big shout out to Arvest Bank and the Day of Caring volunteers today! Thank you so much for helping organize our YCC space.

With all the weather we wanted to remind everyone of the blanket exchange. Turn in your wet blankets we will wash and hand back out!
