We’re going to be helping Care to Learn prepare for the SPS Back to School bash next Friday and would love your help if you’re available! See more details below👇

Anyone 12 years and up looking for a volunteer opportunity this summer? We have an opportunity with Care to Learn on Friday, July 24th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm!

They ask that all volunteers:
•Be at least 12 years old (minors do need a parent/guardian present)
•Sign up individually using the link in the comments
•Commit to the full 3-hour shift
•Wear cool, comfortable clothing and sneakers, as volunteers will be standing for most of the shift

Volunteer roles may include:
•Packing hygiene kits
•Stocking the assembly line
•Moving supplies and unpacking products
•Assisting with trash and recycling to keep the line moving smoothly

Each volunteer will also need to complete a waiver prior to volunteering. A link will be provided upon sign-up.

Our first volunteer opportunity for the year is with Convoy of Hope! Convoy provides a lot of relief, both locally and across the world. Join us on February 9th, from 4:00-6:00pm to learn more about their work and help them prepare for their next mission.

Things to know:
*We'll be volunteering at their headquarters, located at 1 Convoy Drive, Springfield, MO 65802.
*They're making special accommodations for the little ones - if a child is under 10 but would like to volunteer, they MUST have a guardian stay the whole time, but they are welcome!
*All kids 10 and up must have an Assumption of Risk form completed (in the signup genius link)
*Please wear close-toed shoes
*Slots are limited - please RSVP as soon as possible, but no later than February 1st.
