No š« two tie dyes are EXACTLY the same!
As the ice melts, tiny streams of water take unpredictable paths through the fabric. Powdered dyes also contain different pigment particles, and those pigments dissolve and move at different rates. This creates color splittingāa dye that looks like one color in powder form can separate into blues, pinks, purples, greens, or other shades as it moves.
Small differences also compound: exactly where each ice cube sits, which dye particles land where, how tightly the fabric is folded, temperature, melting speed, gravity, and how saturated each section becomes.
So even if you tried to duplicate one of your Pisces Pixie Apparel ice dyes exactly, the second piece would be more like a sister piece than a copy.

Ok kids this is not a drill!!!!
I will be heading out to tackle the work I need to do in Hawaii in just two weeks!
It could not come at a better time! Home projects are caught up (mostly), all my orders are nearing completion, and all is running like a well oiled machine at home!
This is the week to get in anything you want before I leave! I will have limited items with me to work on orders while Iām there and I will not be guaranteeing anything until mid October once I am in Oahu!
Ready to tackle this adventure!
