AI & Digital Skills for Afghan Women Leaders – Session 2 Successfully Completed!

On May 26, participants gained practical skills in social media strategy and personal digital branding to strengthen their online presence and leadership voice in today’s digital world.

Selai is now stepping forward as a mentor to support Afghan girls in their journey toward education, skills development, and employment opportunities.

Through her expertise, she aims to help young women prepare for the next phase of life—building strong resumes, developing career confidence, and becoming job-ready for meaningful employment.

As a mother, she deeply believes that empowering girls is not just support—it is a responsibility and an investment in the future.

Our “A Mother’s Dream” campaign is launched to support Afghan women with online employment opportunities — helping them bring food to the table and create education opportunities for their children, especially girls.

Meet Sayeeda Eagle Tutoring program graduate
Sayeeda is a mother of three children. Her husband lost his job as an army officer and is now working in a small shop. They do not own a house and are currently renting. His income only covers their rent, and it is very difficult for them to afford even basic food.

Sayeeda is hoping to start working as a tutor to support her children’s education and contribute to household expenses. If she is unable to find a job, she may be forced to send her eldest child, only 11 years old, to work instead of continuing school.

For Sayeeda, Eagle Tutoring is not just an opportunity—it is a lifeline that can protect her children from leaving school and help keep hope for a better future alive.

We are proud to launch the first live virtual session of our AI and Digital Skills Program for Afghan women leaders, led by Lili Davoudian.

This milestone marks the second component of our program, following the self-paced learning phase where participants independently build their foundation in digital skills and AI fundamentals.

In this live session, Afghan women leaders explored the power of AI tools such as Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity — and how these tools can transform the way they communicate, research, create, and lead.

We are honored to welcome 110 women from 18 provinces of Afghanistan and 14 countries around the world. From media leaders to nonprofit founders, community builders, and entrepreneurs — they are coming together in one powerful global learning space.

This is more than a training program. It is a growing global network of Afghan women leaders empowered with AI and digital skills to shape stronger communities, create opportunity, and lead the future with confidence

Our “A Mother’s Dream” campaign is launched to support Afghan women with online employment opportunities — helping them bring food to the table and create education opportunities for their children, especially girls.

Meet Parwin, one of the graduates of the Eagle Tutoring Program.

Parwin is a primary school teacher and the sole breadwinner for her family. Her husband is disabled, and together they are raising five children. Despite working hard every day, her small salary is only enough to provide basic food for her family.

Her daughters are trying to continue their education online, but even internet costs are difficult to afford. Her eldest son recently graduated from high school and dreams of attending university, but the preparation courses for entrance exams are far beyond the family’s financial reach.

For Parwin, Eagle Tutoring is more than a program — it is hope. By becoming an online tutor, she will be able to support Afghan diaspora children with her knowledge while earning an income to care for her family, support her daughters’ education, and provide medical treatment for her husband.

A Proud Milestone for Eagle Online Academy!

We are excited to officially complete the Career Mentorship Program on May 4, 2026! 🦅✨

This program was designed to empower participants with the skills, confidence, and digital tools needed to pursue meaningful career opportunities in today’s competitive world.

Over six official sessions, participants learned:

✅ Resume Writing
✅ Cover Letter Development
✅ Building a Professional LinkedIn Profile
✅ Interview Preparation Tips
✅ Using AI Tools for Employment Opportunities

Mentees also explored practical and free online tools to strengthen their professional skills, including:

🎨 Canva for creative and modern resume design
📄 Smallpdf Converter for converting documents and editing files easily

Participants also learned how to use AI tools like Grok to support cover letter writing, professional bios, emails to employers, and many other professional writing activities.

But the learning did not stop there. 💙

The second component of the program focused on personalized mentorship. Our five dedicated mentors worked closely with small groups to provide one-on-one guidance and support, helping participants strengthen their resumes, improve cover letters, build LinkedIn profiles, and practice interview skills with confidence.

We are incredibly proud of every participant and deeply grateful to our mentors who made this journey impactful and inspiring. Together, we are building pathways toward education, leadership, and employment opportunities for our community. 🌍
