We're so excited for Highlonesome Music Festival !

We've got our slot, 3pm on Saturday, September 5th!

But there's a whole weekend starting with a kick-off Thursday evening. There's incredible music, all original, local and regional acts coming to this beauitful place in the ozarks to celebrate together.

Im especially excited because we'll be premiering some new material! Including a song I wrote for a recent event by Highlonesome, the Brushes and Strings, where i was given the opportunity to draw inspiration from a painting and to write a song.

It turned out better than I could have hoped. Right now we're just calling it "Button". It's a call to action, to *push* that button in your life. What decisions are waiting for the "perfect time" to do? What false beliefs are holding you back from making a move? How can you accept enough support, and personal respondibility to just, PUSH THE BUTTON?!?!

Its almost go time for Highlonesome, and if you haven't bought your ticket(s), its time to quit stalling. Push the button, and make it so ❤️

I cant begin to express how thrilled I am to be playing that particular stage, for this particular event. Its an event that makes me proud to live in Springfield and SO happy that the thing I love doing the most can be a part of making a difference in our community.

Run by volunteers, every penny of your ticket goes directly to Springfield based poverty relief organizations like, Isabel's House, The Kitchen, and OACAC. When you come out to enjoy all that this art scene has to offer, you're doing your part to soften the harsh realities that so many endure in our city.

It's so easy, and so, so, so much fun!

I play so much with the band now that, it's become novel to play by myself! I'm so thrilled to join a group of powerful female songwriters this Sunday at Lindbergs!

We play 6-8 in a round robin style set up, sharing our songs and the stories that brought them into being.
