Our Garage Sale Committee, along with many tired heroes who aren’t pictured, is officially BEAT. We’ve sorted, priced, lifted, hung, hauled and possibly lost track of what day it is…but it was absolutely worth it! 😂

Thanks to your incredible donation drop-offs and everyone who came ready to shop, we raised an unbelievable $59,453.10 for animals in need! 🐾💙

We are so thankful for every donor, every shopper and every member of our amazing Garage Sale Committee. Special thanks to Great Southern Bank, Avant Garden, Uptown Boutique, GGP Thrift Store, STUFF, MARSHA and everyone else who loaned us tables and clothing racks. You helped us turn a giant empty building into one seriously impressive treasure hunt!

And a MASSIVE thank-you to the owners of the building for generously allowing us to use the space and Tammy for being so amazing to work with. Without you, this sale truly would not have been possible!

Our team is now going to rest until spring! Every time we think this sale can’t get any bigger, you prove us wrong so we will spend time between now and then working out the kinks!

For the seventh consecutive year, the mayors of Nixa and Ozark are teaming up with Community Blood Center of the Ozarks to host the Mayors Community Challenge Blood Drive on Thursday, Sept. 24. 🩸👍

This friendly competition will determine which community can rally the most blood donors, with the traveling trophy awarded to the city with the highest turnout. Ozark won the trophy last year. Which city will take home the trophy this year?

Donors will receive a voucher for two free admissions to Dickerson Park Zoo along with a limited-edition otter-themed T-shirt, a $38 value. All donors will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $100 Signal Food Store gift card. One winner will be selected from donors at the Ozark blood drive, and another from the Nixa blood drive.
