High Tide Theatrical’s Waves of Change Initiative connects our productions with local organizations doing meaningful work in our community. For our the duration of Ride the Cyclone, High Tide has partnered with the ALS Association.

This partnership will help fund groundbreaking research, ensuring access to quality care and disease education, advocating for policy change, and raising awareness through community events.

Our staff recently had the opportunity to learn from Jamie and Angie from The Arc of the Ozarks about ways we can make High Tide more accessible, thoughtful, and welcoming for ALL patrons.

The Arc of the Ozarks supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in directing their own lives and participating fully in their communities, with services ranging from community living and employment to education, recreation, advocacy, autism services, and more.

We’re incredibly grateful to Jamie and Angie for sharing their time and expertise with us. Accessibility is something we want to keep learning about, improving, and building into the way we welcome people into our space... not as an afterthought, but as part of how we do the work.
